KEVIN ROSALES

Kevin Rosales graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a minor in Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Urban and Environmental Studies. Kevin gained professional experience through research and design internships in both the United States and Latin America.

As a Kompas Fellow, Kevin will investigate how socially equitable housing can be designed to strengthen communities without accelerating displacement. He will examine the relationship between social housing, gentrification, and neighborhood change, using lessons from large-scale housing developments in Mexico and applying them to contemporary challenges in American cities. Kevin aims to explore how architectural design, development processes, and community engagement can work together to create housing that preserves neighborhood identity while expanding access to high-quality residential environments.

During his fellowship, Kevin will divide his time between this independent research and participation on Myefski Architects project teams. He will gain firsthand experience in residential design, urban development, and the practical realities of shaping housing within evolving neighborhoods.
